Nailed it

There's nothing I can't stand more then having bare nails, it just feels really peculiar to me. So I always look forward to having my nails done and trying out new colours and designs. I can highly recommend my beautician she's always coming up with new nail art ideas and does loads of other fantastic treatments too. I've been trying to make the summer last as long as possible by having bright colourful nails, but I think it's about time I accept it's becoming winter and try out some rich purples, deep burgundy's, navy and maybe even black or grey. And with Christmas around the corner I think a bit of red glitter might be on the cards. There are some gorgeous colours out at the moment, I'm especially loving Barry M's collection.

Casual Sundays

I'm loving oversized scarves at the moment, especially this New Look one I recently purchased. It's great for layering up and as it is reverseable it works with loads of different outfits. I wore mine with a jumper to give me some extra warmth, but it also looks great worn with a parka or leather jacket. These leggings are also brill for winter, as they are nice and thick and I love the detailing on them. Perfect outfit for a chilled out Sunday.

DIY Converse

I'd been wanting to customise my converse for a while, but never got round to it until a couple of months ago. There's no need to pay an extortionate price for someone to do it for you, as it's simple and cheap to diy (do it yourself).  I bought two packs of crystals and 2 metres of ribbon from a local haberdashery store  for £2.50, then raided the garage for some super glue. Using a pair of tweezers I applied the crystals working from the outside in. After the glue had dried I cut the ribbon in half, folded the ends over by about a cm, sewed along the edge to stop the ribbon from fraying then laced up. I can't believe how different it makes my converse look, there now the perfect accessory to finish off any casual outfit.

What do you think?

Head to Toe Monochrome

I couldn't wait to snap up this dress from Michelle Keegan's Lipsy range, so I was extremely happy when my boyfriend surprised me with it, one lucky girl! I love it. The skirt is made out of a slight scuba material, so its not too clingy, and the slit makes it easy to walk in. Styled up with a over sized clutch, two toned heels and finished off with a jewelled head band this is the perfect look for the party season, which is fast approaching us.

Date Night Attire

It was mine and the boys anniversary on Friday, so instead of dressing up for Halloween we went out for a nice meal. I didn't want to look to over dressed, so I teamed by dark skinny jeans with this mesh sleeved crop jumper and completed the look with cobalt blue heels and clutch. I had been after the jumper for a while, but it sold out so quickly online and in store, so I was chuffed when I walked it to River Island last weekend and it was hanging up!
Sorry, the pictures haven't come out as well as I would of liked them too.
